a//little//personal

If you ask me about God youll notice i am far from the world's typical stereotype

i can appreciate religion, but in general it does not drive any part of me. religion is soaked in traditions that just jerk at our emotions and give us that 'tingly feeling'. its my faith that sparks a passion in my life.

romans (8:38) the apostle paul

I believe God loves everyone and wants everyone to know him in order to satisfy the human desire for purpose. I believe that God existed in heaven with his angels before time began. I believe Satan was an angel that envied Gods power - he was banned from Gods presence, 2/3 of the angels followed Satan becoming his followers. I believe the essence of humanity is a lesson to Satan. God created man to display what a relationship with God is meant to be like, the one Satan turned from. But like Satan, man had free will, and like Satan, man chose to disobey God. The same sin that disconnected Satan from God disconnects man from God.

I believe sin entered the world - bad things happen because of sins presence in society. Satan tempts people so they will live an impure life that damns them to hell. God does not force himself on people. Those who chose not to have the intended relationship with God in this life recieve eternity in hell because they decided they did not want to be with God and this is the only place God does not exist.

I believe God created a way out of hell through the perfect life of Jesus Christ. Jesus painted a picture of how a relationship with God is meant to look like - displaying the potential we each have to change the world. Jesus was a man who had the holy spirit (our phone line to God the Father) inside of him. He died on the cross for the sins of every person in the world. The angels in heaven rejoice eachtime someone decides to strive to live the way Christ did (the intended relationship with God) because it is Gods desire to know us personally the way Christ knew him. I believe God exists as a being we can feel and know - not as an impersonal figure in our churches.

I believe in faith, not religion. I believe in my personal convictions given to me by the holy spirit, not the traditional morals the church tells me i would follow if I was a 'true' Christian. I believe God puts people in our lives for a reason. I believe that God's presence in our lives can be expressed in different feelings and through different people he gives to us as treasures.
